Micro Sleep
Shortfilm
09:03
Milo, a successful but internally conflicted young man, increasingly feels alienated from his everyday life and the people around him. While he tries to fill his days with routine actions and shallow conversations, he is haunted by a growing sense of existential emptiness. Over the course of the film, he begins to ask fundamental questions about freedom, authenticity, and the meaning of life, leading him into a vortex of philosophical thought. His relationships and perception of reality grow increasingly fragile until he finally confronts the radical freedom and responsibility that come with being human. His partner Cara serves as a wise companion and navigates him through his chaotic world of existence.
Do we humans need a fixed place in the world?
Or is our existence justified by a function?
How do we create a space in which we can actively and meaningfully shape our lives?
